Caroline has been operating Animals at Home (Mendip & North Somerset) since she and her husband, Paul, moved to the area in 2009 with their collection of animals: 3 cats, 1 dog, 2 rabbits, chickens, an elderly welsh mountain pony and a skewbald horse!
Caroline has a real passion for animals, especially cats and horses. Having achieved an honours degree in Equine Science at Hartpury College in 2004, she then went on to gain 5 years experience as a veterinary nurse in busy city practices in the Midlands. One of which was a cardiac referral centre. So she is well qualified to provide a caring and professional service for all your animals.
Caroline has a special affinity with cats, and providing a real alternative catteries through the Cat Care at Home Service is one of her passions. She understands how stressful catteries can be for cats (and their owners!).
Many clients comment on how comfortable a nervous cat will appear around her. Her veterinary nursing experience means that she can also provide the cat care at home service for elderly cats or cats with long term medical problems such as diabetes as she is able to administer medication and knows what problems to look out for. She can even provide a full house sit service for those special cats that need someone there overnight. Check out our testimonials page to see what some of our regular clients think of this service.
The company operates a DEFRA/animal welfare authorised ambulance and holds a type 2 animal movement licence. This means we can transport domestic animals in safety and comfort, whether it is a trip to the vets or referral centre, relocating across the country or transport to the airport pet hub for emigration!
We provide the Mendip and North Somerset area with a comprehensive service, from small pets to horses and smallholdings, from local pet taxi trips to long distance transport. Please get in touch to see how we can help you and your animals.
