Jan and Lyn would like to welcome you to Animals At Home (Solent).
We’ve been good friends for many years and our nineteen year old sons have grown up together. At long last we’ve quit the rat-race and the stress of high powered jobs and are now looking forward to combining work with fun. We’ve both had vast and varied experiences over the past thirty years of dealing with the public on a highly successful customer relationship basis and we are now hoping to meet you and your pets, and hopefully, we can be of great help to you.
Jan at present has a very laid-back Westie appropriately named “Woof” and has also had pets of various varieties over the years. She also has a personal knowledge of guide dogs (and no, she is NOT blind!). Lyn, on the other hand, has the local menagerie living with her. At present, ruling the roost are “Monty” (another Westie but totally mad and not at all laid-back), “Bubbles” and “Harvey”, the rabbits, “Sweep” and “Alfie” the guinea pigs and last but not least, “Georgia” the tortoise. She has also had cats dogs, ducks, birds, horses and numerous other small pets. Add to this any other waifs and strays needing help or a good home and you’ve got the picture!
We’re enthusiastic, hard working, fun loving and relatively sane (to which all pet owners and parents of teenagers can relate!)
