Hello! My name is Amanda and I have recently taken over Animals At Home South Essex.
I am very excited to be involved in this award winning business, which has been successfully running for 5 years. I have always had a passion for animals from a very young age.
I am a qualified registered veterinary nurse and also a qualified lecturer. I have been teaching Animal Studies at a University College for the last 9 years and the 8 years previous to that I worked in practice as a veterinary nurse. I offer pet sitting, pet transportation, dog walking, dog boarding (with a host family), animal ambulance and taxi service, pet cremation and also some veterinary nursing services.
I am fully trained and able to give medications.
I have a fully licensed ambulance, which is registered with DEFRA, to transport your animals.
This also provides a much needed ambulance service supporting local vets. I have experience with all animals, including horses.
I have owned my own horses in the past and worked in a riding school previous to becoming a veterinary nurse, so I can provide care to any animal. I live with my husband, our 2 children and we have 3 dogs and 4 cats.
All of the services offered are bespoke and tailored to your animals specific needs. For any more information on any of my services, please get in touch!
