I have recently had the pleasure of taking over ownership of the Mid Devon & Exeter Animals at Home Franchise from Jayne who has finally handed over the reins,
My name is Beth and my family have been using Jaynes services for many years, when asked if I would be interested in stepping into Jaynes shoes, I jumped at the chance. I have spent the last three months familiarising myself with the day to day routine and specific services, as well as receiving the extensive Head Office training offered before taking over the helm at the beginning of July this year.
Service is continuing as normal with those existing clients still being serviced by their usual walkers, feeders and pet care professionals.
HOSTING: Over these years, we have looked after dogs throughout their entire lives whilst their owners have been away or working – we have become their 2nd mum, and our home is their 2nd home. We are now seeing many younger dogs come on to our register and no doubt we will be looking after them for a great period of their life and we will again enjoy seeing them blossom in to the peak of their lives.
Having a love of being outdoors, we just love to walk and we generally host the Labradors, Spaniels and Collies that just enjoy being outdoors and love the same manic lifestyle that we have. Our lovely hosts Ruth and Diana, both enjoy the quieter side of life and they love the smaller dogs, the older dogs and the dogs that just enjoy spending the day cuddled up on the sofa.
DOG WALKING: Our lovely dog walkers, Lisa and Alison have both passed their Professional Dog Walker Certificate with the British College of Canine Studies and over the years they have been with us, they have also proved their love for what they do, their commitment to our clients and their love of being outdoors come rain or shine with their beloved four legged charges! Alison and Lisa can be seen around every day in their Ambulances, either on Woodbury Common, in the woods or in the Parks in Exeter – but wherever they are the dogs love being with them. The dogs are always showered down and towelled off before being dropped home for a good sleep.
SMALL PETS: For those pets that need to be looked after at home – cats, hedgehogs, chickens etc, then home visits are also part of our daily routine.
SMALL PETS: Other small pets like guinea pigs, rabbits, Parrots and Budgies may just like to visit us at home – they will then be secure, have constant company and we can check on them 24/7.
TRANSPORT: If you need to get to a vet appointment, If you are moving home or buying a pet from afar – then call us. We offer transport of all types. For Example this year we have arranged transport for a puppy to come from Northern Ireland to Torquay, 2 puppies to come from Scotland to Torquay and a cat to go from Exeter to Cambridge. We have also done a lot of vet transport for our regular clients.
CREMATION: For when ‘That’ time comes, we will help you through the worst time and assist you in making that final call in the right way for you and best way for our pet.
