Hi, I’m Jacques and I am the proud owner of Animals at Home – Southampton Branch.

I co-ordinate and facilitate a small family friendly business where providing you and your furry companions with the very best care, love and support is my priority. In turn, giving you peace of mind, when you need to be away from your pet(s) due to work, holiday or other commitments.

I adore animals and currently share my life with my small family, comprising of children, grandchildren and our beautiful pets, Emily the Pug aged 8 years, Dottie the Dachshund (puppy), H1Trapie the hamster aged 2 months & Bubbles the Axolotl aged 1 year.

I know first hand how important your pets are to you.  Emily the Pug is my favourite child 😉!!  Pets are at the heart of any family and a home wouldn’t be the same without them.  That is why it is important to find a good, quality, reliable pet care service that you can trust to look after your important family members.

Aside from sharing my family life with many pets over the decades, I have also previously supported a National Charity in the Hampshire area with dog rescue, fostering, adoption and assessments, finding forever homes and families for vulnerable dogs.

Prior to starting my own animal care business I was working in Social Care as a frontline qualified practitioner for 10 years.  However, owing to a significant change in family circumstances and needs, I knew it was time to change my occupation; so that I was able to support my small family, whilst remaining an independent working woman, Mum and Nanni. Changing my occupation has given us all and our pets a ‘therapeutic way of life for the better’.

I feel very privileged to be able to run the Southampton Branch of Animals at Home, sharing my passion, values, skills, knowledge and experiences with customers including the furry ones too!

Finally, my team of pet carers offer a 24/7 service which are fully insured, pet first aid qualified and DBS checked; giving peace of mind, so you know you and your pets are in safe hands, tailored to your/their needs, routine and their likes and dislikes.

Warm wishes

Jacques x
