Animals at Home offer specialised Pet Transport for your pets in safe and secure vehicles for your pet transport needs.
Safe pet transport is a must for your pet, you may need your dog taking to the groomer, vet or moving house?
All our Pet Taxi / Animal Ambulances have been designed with safety, welfare and comfort in mind; to ensure a safe and efficient journey for your pets.
The vehicles are all approved by the DEFRA Welfare in Transport and qualify for both long and short journeys.
All of our operators are pet first aid and pet handling trained, and receive further training at an RCVS accredited veterinary hospital practice. Their skills include handling and administering medications.
The vehicles carry pet first aid equipment, pet carriers, hygiene and cleaning solutions, leads, muzzles, operator safety kit, and extras such as spare vetbed, towels etc.
They are fitted with fully reflective animal ambulance livery, a flashing roof light and have specially designed and bespoke animal accommodation, with escape hatches and veterinary grade construction.
Our pet taxi / animal ambulances can be booked by pet owners, veterinary surgeries, animal charities and veterinary referral units for routine, non-urgent and emergency pet transport.

We are the only animal ambulance in the area to offer a 24/7 emergency cover.
Our other services include visiting your cats in your home while you are away, or walking your dog if you can’t get home during the day. If you have exotics, fish or birds they are covered too!

Our area is extensive, and we do try to cover most of it from our base in King’s Lynn, but sometimes it is just not cost effective to visit certain postcodes, so we are always on the lookout for reliable helpers in all our areas for regular dog walking and cat care, which will keep client costs down as well as being someone local for you and your pets.
