We offer dog home boarding services where your pet can stay with a loving, approved family.

Animals at Home offer the true alternative to dog boarding kennels, instead providing a home-from-home holiday experience for your dog.

A service preferred by most dogs and owners, but especially those dogs that are scared of kennels or suffer from kennel stress symptoms, or perhaps have no experience of staying anywhere other than a loving family environment. We offer local dog boarding host families who will care for your dog in their home while you are away on holiday or business.

All of our host families will have Local Authority Dog Home Boarding Licenses as required by Law, with suitable houses, gardens, training, protocol and risk assessments; and importantly, are dog lovers themselves.

We take great care to select just the right people to look after your dog.

Before commencing the Dog Boarding Services you will be invited to visit the host family before your pet’s stay, so you can see the home your best friend will be staying in and meet the people who will look after him or her.

We match suitable hosts with the right size, breed and character that your dog requires.

In most cases our families will only be looking after your dog, but it is possible that your dog may stay another pet family with similar needs (subject to licensing and owner consent). Either way they get all the care and attention they deserve, and you’ll get plenty of photo and video updates so you can see how much fun your dog is having on their holiday!
