Host Family Vacancies in Derbyshire

We need dog loving Host Families to join us to look after other peoples pets

Join us to look after other people’s pets….

Many of our host families are retired people who enjoy the flexibility of caring for a pet without the full-time responsibility.

Alternatively, they may be at home during the day with children or pets of their own, and a visiting dog compliments their existing situation perfectly, whilst earning some additional income.

Becoming a host!

  • You are able to enjoy the companionship of looking after pets, without the full time responsibility.
  • Great exercise, very sociable.
  • You become part of a pet loving national organisation.
  • You are supported 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • You can add extra income for the household.

Hello and welcome to Animals at Home (Derbyshire) Ltd, I am Niki and I offer Pet care services in the East Midlands area covering postcodes LE11, LE12, LE65, LE67, DE24, DE73 and DE74. I can’t remember not ever having a pet of some description, whether it’s been paws, claws, hooves, feathers or scales! I have worked several years in customer service and then manufacturing, so when the opportunity arose to combine work and my love for animals it seemed a natural progression. I have received Professional animal training at a RCVS Veterinary Hospital, which includes, first aid, animal handling and hygiene and pet nutrition. I have a specially equipped pet transport/animal ambulance which is DEFRA approved and licensed for pet welfare transport.
