THIS FRANCHISE CAN BE YOURS FOR SMALL MONTHLY INSTALMENTS – MEANING YOU DON’T NEED TO GO AND FIND A LOAN!! YOU CAN GET WORKING AND ENJOYING YOUR NEW CAREER RIGHT AWAY.
The Isle of Wight franchise was where it all began back in 2003 by the then owner Denis Chirgwin and it was from this one small branch that it has gone strength to strength so it is a special franchise to us and the company.
It is currently run by us, Alice and Diane both veterinary nurses we took it over in January 2012 from a small clientele, it has now grown into one of more than 1100 active clients. We try to cover most of the Isle of wight using our skills and also our invaluable pet care helpers who tend to cover smaller
areas of the Island near to them for local pet care needs. As we are both vet nurses we take an interest in training our carers and host homes to a high standard and would be looking for the new franchise owners to have a good pet care skill base but we would be more than happy to be on hand to offer help and advise to ensure the smooth transition for our clients and their pets.
The Isle of Wight is a lovely place to live all year round and we care for not only resident pets but also holiday maker pets if needed. With a large senior population and their pets there is lots of scope for pet care at home! We have developed our home cat care skills to be able to offer care for elderly cats on medication and help and advice for senior pets if needed.
So if you fancy a change of scene and time to relax as well as do a job you enjoy then this franchise should be high on your list of things to do – do get in touch to learn more.

Animals at Home West Herts has been operational since 2007 and is well established in the local area, offering a variety of pet care services. Services currently offered include: dog walking, cat care, small pet care, ambulance transport to vets/animal hospitals, pet cremation etc. and we have regular repeat business with many recommendations and referrals from customers, all of whom have been very satisfied with the service we provide.
Whilst we currently don’t offer a home boarding service for dogs there is huge potential in the area for this, as well as further dog walking and doggy daycare.
I first joined Animals at Home in 2007, having worked in the motor industry for over 30 years. Becoming my own boss and caring for animals was a dream come true for me. I started the business from scratch, gradually building up a regular client base through local advertising, posting leaflets in the area and, most important of all, by word of mouth from satisfied customers. We also enjoy an excellent relationship with local vets who provide regular referrals for pet taxis and other petcare services.
The compact territory covers Watford, Rickmansworth, Bushey, Chorleywood, Kings Langley, Abbots Langley and surrounding villages. Watford in particular is a fast growing town with plenty of potential for expansion of the business.
The only reason for selling is because we are planning to move to the South West of England as soon as my wife retires. excellent support and training and I am happy to introduce you to my regular clients and their pets, in order to ensure continuity of service and a smooth transition of the business.
Animals at Home S&W Norfolk Ltd has been running for over 10 years now and I have been running it for over 9. The business is very well established in the area with regular repeat (weekly) business and a large client base. The business receives many recommendations from local vets as well as from existing clients, some who have been with me since the start. The business will come with the Animal Ambulance and a bespoke Lintran cage system.
I currently cover Kings Lynn and Downham Market therefore there is plenty of room for the business to grow. My main focus for has been Dog walking and small animal care so again lots of opportunity to expand the business with home boarding, pet sitting and the full range of services that Animals at home are able to specialise in.
This will make a great business for the right person. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time doing it but wish to try something new and possibly relocate. This is a great opportunity to be your own boss and make an income from day 1. Full support from the current owner will be available to get to know current clients and their furry friends, and to ensure a smooth and successful handover.
We have a very successful Animals at Home Franchise who has built her business within part of her licenced area and is now looking to sell on the licenced area that she is no longer able to concentrate on.
These areas do have some clients and would benefit from someone concentrating their efforts within this area and building the potential further.

Begun from scratch in 2011, the franchise has grown steadily, and has a well-established, large and loyal clientele, as well as still attracting regular new business through referrals and on-line advertising, ensuring continuing growth opportunities. The business already has future bookings into 2019.

This Animals at Home branch was established in 2005 and has been expanded over the years from it's original Exmoor branch.
The very large franchise branch is now being split so the owner can concentrate on a smaller area due to commitments as the Co-MD of Animals at Home Ltd, the national pet care company. The owner will maintain the Exmoor part of the franchise area, but the resale area is an very manageable size with easy access to the M5 or more rural routes for daily pet care and pet transport.
The Taunton & West Somerset part of the franchise has many local contacts with local vets and animal charities for pet transport; a large and loyal client list with their wonderful animals, and nearly 15 years of Google and social media history; which will be a massive bonus to the new owner.
The purchase of the franchise includes the county town of Taunton and a large area surrounding it, also the very fast developing town of Bridgwater which has a huge untapped potential for pet care. Both towns offer huge potential for continuing pet care and for developing the branch with new clients and new contacts.
All the core services are offered such as dog walking, cat care, small fluffies, home dog boarding, pet taxi and animal ambulance, with the potential for equine and smallholding care also.
A full handover period is included, plus full training including 2 days veterinary hospital experience course, a City & Guilds dog walking or pet care course, pet first aid course, as well as Animals at Home business and paperwork training. There is also a six month mentoring period by the Animals at Home support team.
The new owner will be the director of the small business and will own the licensed territory of Animals at Home (Taunton & West Somerset) Ltd.
